উইন্ডোজ এক্সপির বুট সেক্টর রিপেয়ার করা
যাদের কমপিউটারে উইন্ডোজ এক্সপি লোড করা থাকে, তাহলে তাদের অনেককে একটি সাধারণ সমস্যার মুখোমুখি হতে হয়। আর তা হলো বুট সেক্টর নষ্ট হয়ে যাওয়া। আর এই নষ্ট বুট সেক্টর রিপেয়ার করার জন্য প্রথমেই প্রয়োজন একটি বুটেবল উইন্ডোজ এক্সপির সিডি। সিডিটিকে প্রথমে সিডি ড্রাইভে প্রবেশ করান। এরপর কমপিউটার রিস্টার্ট করুন এবং F8 চেপে রাখুন। এরফলে স্টার্ট আপ লিস্ট আসবে। সেখান থেকে কমান্ড প্রম্পট সিলেক্ট করুন। এরপর, কমান্ড প্রম্পাটে এতে নিচের কমান্ডগুলো একে একে টাইপ করুন-Copy x :i386NTLDR C:Copy x :i386NTDETECT. COM C :উল্লেখ্য, এখানে এক্স হচ্ছে আপনার সিডি রুমের ড্রাইভ লেটার। এবার, নষ্ট বুট সেক্টর রিপেয়ার করতে কমান্ড প্রম্পটে FIXBOOT টাইপ করে এন্টার প্রেস করুন। পরিশেষে কী-বোর্ড থেকে y দিন।

কমপিউটারে এটিএক্স পাওয়ার সাপ্লাই থাকার পরও উইন্ডোজ এক্সপিতে কমপিউটার সরাসরি বন্ধ না হয়ে Its now safe to turn your computer এই বার্তাটি দেখায়। যার ফলে আপনাকে সুইচ টিপে কমপিউটার বন্ধ করতে হয়। এই ঝামেলা হতে মুক্তির জন্য এক্সপির ACPI সক্রিয় করতে হবে। আর তা করতে হবে নিম্নরূপ : Start->Control Panel->Performence & maintenance->power option ট্যাবে গিয়ে Apm -এ ক্লিক করে ACPI-সক্রিয় করে দিন।

যাচাই করে দেখা গেছে, বিনে পয়সায় তৈরি করা আইসিটি নীতিমালার কর্মপরিকল্পনাটি তথাকথিত মিলিয়ন ডলারের রোডম্যাপের চাইতে অনেক ভালো। দেখা গেছে, বাংলাদেশের তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি খাতের নানা স্তরের মানুষেরা অনেক বাস্তবসম্মত সমস্যা চিহ্নিত করে তা বাস্তবায়ন করার জন্য যেসব সুপারিশ করেছে, তার সাথে যুক্তরাজ্যের গভ-৩ নামের প্রতিষ্ঠানের সুপারিশসমূহকে মোটেই সুপরিকল্পিত মনে হয় না।
সরকারি তহবিল কিংবা বিশ্বব্যাংক; যার পকেট থেকেই হোক, ঋণ বা অনুদান যাই হোক, খরচের টাকার পরিমাণ কত, সেটি সঠিকভাবে জানা না গেলেও বছর জুড়েই এসব কর্মকাণ্ড বার বার আমাদের চারপাশে উঁকি দিচ্ছিল। ইচ্ছায়-অনিচ্ছায় আমাদের দুয়ারে এসে তাইফুর বা নুরুল কবিররা তাদের বিদেশী বন্ধুদের নিয়ে বার বার জানতে চেয়েছেন কী করা উচিত রোডম্যাপের জন্য বা কী হওয়া উচিত ই-গভর্নমেন্টের কৌশল। আমার মনে আছে, ভারতীয় নীল রতনকে প্রথম দিনেই বলেছিলাম, আমাদের নাগরিকদের জন্য ই-সেবা দেবার আগে সরকারকে বলুন, তাদের নিজেদের কাজ করার বর্তমান ফাইলভিত্তিক এনালগ পদ্ধতি বদল করে ডিজিটাল একটি ব্যবস্থা চালু করুক।

সময়ের সাথে ছোট হয়ে আসছে অসম্ভবের তালিকা। হয়তো অদূর ভবিষ্যতে দারিদ্র্যের অবসান, মৌলিক শিক্ষা নিশ্চিত করা, সবার জন্য স্বাস্থ্য নিশ্চিত করা ও তথ্যপ্রযুক্তিতে সার্বজীনন প্রবেশ ইত্যাদিও বিদায় নেবে অসম্ভবের তালিকা থেকে। আইসিটি এসব অসম্ভবকে সম্ভব করে তুলবে। আইসিটি দ্রুত বদলে দিচ্ছে আমাদের দুনিয়া। সৃষ্টি করছে দূরত্বহীন, সীমানাহীন তাৎক্ষণিক যোগাযোগ সুবিধা। ক্রমেই আইসিটি হয়ে উঠছে সস্তা থেকে সস্তাতর। আইসিটি আজ এশিয়া ও প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরীয় অঞ্চলের গ্রাম এলাকার অর্থনৈতিক প্রবৃদ্ধি ও উন্নয়ন সাধনের এক সম্ভাবনাময় হাতিয়ার। আইসিটি গ্রাম এলাকায় সৃষ্টি করছে আয়ের সুযোগ। গ্রামীণ সামাজিক ও অর্থনৈতিক কর্মকাণ্ডের চালিকাশক্তি হয়ে উঠছে আইসিটি। আইসিটিতে আমাদের কষ্টার্জিত বিনিয়োগ ফল দিতে শুরু করেছে। চরম গরিব দেশ বাংলাদেশও গ্রামীণ ব্যাংকের মাধ্যমে বহু আগেই বর্তমান ও ভবিষ্যৎ গরিব মানুষের জন্য সুযোগ সৃষ্টির লক্ষ্যে আইসিটি খাতে বিনিয়োগ শুরু করে। এর সুফল বাংলাদেশের সাধারণ মানুষও আজ পাচ্ছে। আইসিটি তাদের জীবনমান পাল্টে দিয়েছে। গরিব মানুষের সামনে খুলে গেছে নতুন নতুন সুযোগ।
